Delivering evidence based cognitive-behavioural therapy to children, adolescents and adults.

About CBT

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an evidence based, short term psychological treatment that explores the links between thoughts, emotional feelings, physical feelings and behaviour.

CBT explores triggers for difficulties, looks at maintaining factors, provides CBT strategies, sets collaborative CBT treatment goals and works through plans for relapse prevention.

CBT has an excellent evidence base for depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder and trauma and I work across the age ranges to provide CBT for these disorders.

I am also trained in third wave CBT  therapies – Acceptance and commitment therapy, Dialectical behavioural therapy, solution focused therapy and motivational therapy.
